Dear chessfriends
one of my hobbies (besides the game of chess) is collecting ballpoint pens with various medical inscriptions (from farmacy companies, hospitals, private doctors an so on). It would be nice to have some of the pens from Your country to decorate my collection. In case You have an opportunity to get any of such pens, I will be thankful if You could send them by mail - I will cover the mailing expenses.
My address: Antanas Janusonis D.Gerbutaviciaus str.10-44 LT - 04317, Vilnius Lithuania

I love pool and pitch and Put. I think if there were a triathlon involving those two sports and chess I might actually be pretty good! Alas at any one on its own (bar pool maybe) I'll have to settle for a bit better than average!

I hunt and fish, and fairly infrequently now play golf. Perhaps if I ever get airfare, or slow boat fare to Scotland I'll get to play St. Andrews with him. If you know, (goldie) is it set up much the same for the public as it is for major championships?

I do have a hobby life outside of chess (which I'm delighted to indulge in all 7 days of the week). I shoot indoor target air rifle, play a few musical instruments and have nearly finished making my first travel chess set - the case and board, not the pieces. I enjoy woodworking, but I'm not proficient enough for that yet! I used to practice a few martial arts, but I'll leave that to the youngsters now.

Woodpusher,
if you are ever in Scotland i will give you a game of golf but as for St Andrews old course i think you need to be a -1 or below handycap to play on it and im only a 16 so wont be aloud. But there are plenty other courses around St Andrews.
